The ParaCore Slow Intro Kit is a versatile dental material designed for core build-up, cementing root posts, and indirect restorations. It is a composite-based, dual-cured, and radiopaque material that provides reliable and durable results. When used for core build-up, the ParaCore Slow Intro Kit helps in the reconstruction of severely damaged teeth. It offers excellent strength and adhesion properties, allowing for the creation of a solid foundation for the placement of a crown or bridge. The material's composition includes methacrylates, fluoride, barium glass, and amorphous silica, which contribute to its mechanical and radiographic properties.

The ParaCore Slow Intro Kit offers reliable adhesion and long-term stability. It ensures a secure bond between the post and the root canal, providing support for the final restoration. The material's chemical-curing adhesive system, ParaBond, enhances the bonding strength and ensures a strong connection between the post and the dental structure. For indirect restorations, the ParaCore Slow Intro Kit acts as a reliable cementing agent. It can be used to securely attach crowns, bridges, inlays, and onlays made from ceramic, metal, or composite materials. Its excellent adhesion properties and compatibility with different restoration types make it a suitable choice for various clinical situations.

The working time of the ParaCore Slow Intro Kit is influenced by the temperature, with higher temperatures shortening the working time. It is essential to maintain a dry working field and protect the material from intense light exposure before polymerization. The light-curing time can vary depending on the type of curing lamp used, with higher-intensity light resulting in shorter curing times.

  • 2 × 5 ml ParaCore Dentin SLOW
  • 2 × 5 ml ParaCore Trans SLOW
  • 3 × 3 ml ParaBond Non-Rinse
  • Conditioner + Adhesive A & B
  • 20 × Mixing Tip Short Super Fine

Tooth Isolation:

  • Ensure a dry working field for optimal results.
  • It is recommended to use a rubber dam (e.g., Waldent Rubber Dam Kit of 21 (K16/2)) to isolate the tooth.

Post Cementation:

  • Select a suitable endodontic post system

Applying ParaBond Non-Rinse Conditioner:

  • Dispense Non-Rinse Conditioner from the ParaCore Slow Intro Kit into the mixing well.
  • Apply Non-Rinse Conditioner into the prepared post space and onto the contact surfaces (preparation/cavity) using a brush. Massage for 30 seconds.
  • Remove excess Non-Rinse Conditioner from the root canal using paper points.
  • Dry the contact surfaces (preparation/cavity) using a gentle stream of air for 2 seconds.

Applying ParaBond Adhesive:

  • Mix one drop of Adhesive A from the ParaCore Slow Intro Kit together with one drop of Adhesive B into the mixing well.
  • Apply the mixed adhesive components into the prepared post space and onto the contact surfaces (preparation/cavity) using a brush. Massage for 30 seconds.
  • Remove excess adhesive from the root canal using paper points.
  • Dry the adhesive bond layer using a gentle stream of air for 2 seconds.

Using ParaCore Slow Intro Kit to Cement Posts:

  • Remove the syringe plug or used the mixing tip.
  • Extrude a small amount of ParaCore material from the ParaCore Slow Intro Kit directly out of the syringe onto a paper towel/tissue until equal amounts of base and catalyst are being extruded.
  • Wipe off excess material from the orifice.
  • Attach the mixing tip from the ParaCore Slow Intro Kit and twist clockwise (90 degrees) to lock it in place.
  • Dispense ParaCore directly from the syringe into the prepared root canal using the Root Canal Tip.
  • Coat the root canal post completely with the mixed ParaCore material.
  • Insert the post into the root canal using gentle pressure.
  • Remove excess ParaCore material using appropriate instrumentation.
  • Disinfect the mixing tip from the ParaCore Slow Intro Kit after each use and do not remove it.
  • Prepare the core build-up as soon as the ParaCore material has completely cured.

Core Build-Ups: Applying ParaBond Non-Rinse Conditioner:

  • Dispense the Non-Rinse Conditioner into the mixing well.
  • Apply the Non-Rinse Conditioner onto the entire preparation/cavity using a brush. Massage for 30 seconds.
  • Dry excess Non-Rinse Conditioner using a gentle stream of air for 2 seconds.

Applying ParaBond Adhesive:

  • Mix one drop of Adhesive A with one drop of Adhesive B in the mixing well.
  • Apply the mixed adhesive components onto the contact surfaces (preparation/cavity) using a brush. Massage for 30 seconds.
  • Dry the adhesive bond layer using a gentle stream of air for 2 seconds.

Application of ParaCore:

  • Remove the syringe plug or used mixing tip and extrude a small amount of ParaCore material onto a paper towel/tissue until equal amounts of base and catalyst are being extruded.
  • Wipe off excess material from the orifice with a paper towel/tissue and attach the mixing tip by twisting it clockwise to lock it in place.
  • Apply ParaCore directly to the preparation
