GC Advanced Glass Hybrid Technology.

Experience the next generation of hand-mixed, self-adhesive posterior restorative featuring GC Advanced Glass Hybrid technology.

Advanced Glass hybrid technology is the combination of two types of Fluoro-Almino-Silicate(FAS) glass and also two types of polyacrylic acid.

  • Smart particle size distribution, Gold Label HYBRID gets higher mechanical strength
  • Finer size of FAS Glass particle decreases collision against visible light waves. The more light is passing through the restorative, it causes the restorative more translucent.
  • Gold Label HYBRID consists of the glass which reacts with polyacrylic acid, helping the restorative matrix release high amount of fluoride.
  • Gold Label HYBRID is consist of more acid resistance FAS glass and a higher molecular weight polyacrylic acid.
  • These two components strengthen the restorative matrix and gives higher acid resistance.

Indications :

  • Class I and Class II restorations in deciduous teeth.
  • Non-load bearing Class I and Class II.
  • Intermediate restorative and base material for heavy stress situations in Class I and Class II cavities using the sandwich laminate technique.
  • Class V and root surface restorations.
  • Core build-up.

Powder/ Liquid Ratio (g/g) - 3.0/1.0

Mixing Time (sec.) - 25-30"

Working Time (23°C/73° F) (min., sec.) - 1'45"

Net Setting Time (37°C/99°F) (min., sec.) - 2'40"

Finishing Time (37 C/99 F, from start of mixing) (min., sec.) - 6'00"

STORAGE : Recommended for optimal performance, store at temperature of 4-25°C (39-77°F).

  • 1 x 15gm powder
  • 1 x 6.4ml liquid

POWDER AND LIQUID DISPENSING

  • The standard powder to liquid ratio is 3.0 g/1.0g (1 level scoop of powder to 1 drop of liquid).
  • For accurate dispensing of powder, lightly tap the bottle against the hand. Do not shake or invert.
  • Hold the liquid bottle vertically and squeeze gently.
  • Immediately close the bottles tightly after use.

CAVITY PREPARATION

  • Prepare tooth using standard techniques. Extensive mechanical retention is unnecessary. For pulp capping, use calcium hydroxide. Note: Optionally, CAVITY CONDITIONER or DENTIN CONDITIONER can be applied to the bonding surfaces.
  • Rinse thoroughly with water. Blot away excess water with a cotton pellet or dry by gently blowing with an air syringe. DO NOT DESICCATE. Prepared surfaces should appear moist (glistening).

MIXING

  • Dispense powder and liquid onto the pad.
  • Using plastic spatula, divide the powder into 2 equal parts.
  • Mix the first portion of the powder with all the liquid for 10 seconds.
  • Incorporate the remaining portion of the powder and mix thoroughly for 15-20 seconds

RESTORATIVĒ TECHNIQUE

  • Mix the required amount of cement. Working time is 145 from start of mixing at 23C (73"F). Higher temperatures will shorten working time.
  • Transfer cement to the prepared cavity using a suitable instrument. Avoid air bubbles
  • Form the preliminary contour and cover with a matrix if required
  • When set, immediately apply GC Fuji VARNISH (blow dry) or G-COAT PLŪS (light cure)

FINISHING

  • Final finishing under water spray using standard techniques can begin at 6 minutes after starting the mix.
  • Apply a final coat of GC Fuji VARNIŠH or G-COAT PLUS.
  • Instruct the patient not to apply pressure for 1 hour.
