Introducing the next generation ESTELITE Sigma Quick…
PALFIQUE LX5. Delivering lifelike aesthetic restorations, infused with
our Supra-Nano spherical fillers, that was engineered by Tokuyama
Dental.
Tokuyama Dental’s composite resin is recognized world-wide, and features outstanding polishabillity, wide shade matching range and high wear resistance.
PALFIQUE LX5 can meet everything in your practice.
Palfique LX5 Syringe Refill is an advanced light-cured composite resin designed for anterior and posterior restorations, suitable for all carious classes. Comprising 82% by weight (71% by volume) of silica-zirconia filler and composite filler, it exhibits decreased polymerization shrinkage due to its high filler load. The inorganic filler, featuring spherical submicron particles (mean size: 0.2μm), ensures exceptional gloss retention and wear resistance. The monomer matrix contains Bis-GMA and Triethylene glycol dimethacrylate. Incorporating Radical-Amplified Photo polymerization initiator technology (RAP technology), PALFIQUE LX5 offers a one-third reduction in curing time compared to conventional resin composites, facilitated by a light curing unit with a wavelength range of 400 to 500nm.
Indications:
Isolation:
Isolate the treatment area using a rubber dam or other suitable isolation methods to prevent contamination.
Tooth Preparation:
Prepare the tooth according to standard restorative procedures, removing any decay or damaged structure.
Etching and Bonding:
Etch the tooth surface with an appropriate etchant, rinse, and apply a bonding agent as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Application of PALFIQUE LX5:
Dispense the PALFIQUE LX5 from the syringe onto a mixing pad. Use an appropriate instrument for placement and shaping.
Light-Curing:
Light-cure PALFIQUE LX5 using a suitable light-curing unit. Follow the recommended curing time and ensure adequate coverage of all applied material.
Finishing and Polishing:
Once cured, finish and polish the restoration using fine finishing burs and polishing discs to achieve the desired aesthetics.
Check Occlusion:
Verify occlusion to ensure proper bite and adjust if necessary.
Clean Instruments:
Clean placement instruments with alcohol after use.
Patient Instructions:
Advise the patient to avoid chewing on hard objects immediately after the procedure.
Safety Precautions:
Adhere to safety precautions, including the use of protective eyewear when using a light-curing unit.
